The Fender Player II telecaster was not what I expected. The rolled frets your poorly finished. The nut wasn’t even shaped and polished. The finish on the head stock wasn’t applied good, you can see that is was rush job. The fret board wasn’t straight. I had to set the guitar up. The intonation was way off. The action was way too high to even play. After all that was fixed, I am not at all happy with the picks, they sound very cheap, kind of like a toy guitar. The feel when playing the guitar is just bad! I can only play for a few minutes then I am just frustrated with it. The color was really nice. The over all of the guitar just felt like a very cheap toy guitar. I am really upset with the PII! I had high hopes. But nothing close to Fender standards where meet here. Maybe I just got a bad one. Maybe I can get another sent to me. We’ll see.

Recently, someone damaged my bass guitar beyond repair and I needed to purchase a replacement immediately because I am a working professional musician. I saw that your website had a specific base in mind that I was looking at. This bass rarely comes available and I immediately jumped on the opportunity to purchase the bass. It gave me the option to pay a premium for expedited shipment to have it arrive at my house by Saturday morning. I noticed by Friday afternoon I had yet to receive a tracking number for the shipment and became very concerned because I had a gig Sunday. I called in to customer service and was told that it would not be there on the day that the website promised that I would receive the shipment by for the expedited shipment. The agent had no explanation as to why the item had not left the warehouse, but then promised me that I would have it no later than Monday morning. I was quite upset as I was going to lose out on a paid gig Sunday. I then explained to her that I had another gig Monday evening and needed it. She said that if I did not get it by Monday morning to call back to find out where it was and what your company could do to make it up. I got no tracking information Monday and tried to call and all I got was we don’t know why it was delayed, but you should receive it soon. I called back in on Wednesday after seeing the tracking information showing the item being promised to be delivered by Friday, which was over a week after I purchased the item. They did credit me back the cost of the expedited shipment, but I had lost out on hundreds of dollars from paid gigs that I had to cancel. They gave me a $50 online gift card which doesn’t make up for the lost income, but at least it was something. It really makes me think if I’ll ever use that gift certificate because I can’t quite trust your website and it’s shipping department to have my items in on time.
