Post-Delivery FeedbackMar 9, 2026
The process of getting answers was rather cumbersome, and time consuming going back and forth on email (no chat offered), but we got there in the end. The 12 mil layer is a concern, but it is too soon to know about that risk. No call as promised an hour ahead to contractor so he came anyway a half an hour at the close of the delivery window given, but no one from Estes Shipping called to tell us the truck had broken down so had to chase that tidbit, and make up to contractor for a wasted trip; and no remedy offered by ALLURE, even though I asked about making it right by providing transitions (crickets back). So instead of coming on Friday, it came Monday with no notice BUT at least they delivered all the way to house, which I had asked about but had no answer until it just happened. Unfortunately, they just dropped and drove away with no chance to inspect the product and it had been restrapped onto a second pallet bc the first one broke but the second pallet was like decking so it was way better and NO BROKEN LVT!! In the whole pallet of 24 cases. All in all, it was okay experience. The product itself is wonderful. Bit cooler tone than I was looking for, but there are limited choices in the look I wanted w this company. Will warm it up with a rug in diner. It looks great! The contractor was the key to that, of course. Lots of experience at installation. He only buys local so the delivery snafu was proving his point; and that is a downside that ALLURE does not have any local retailers. But that’s the move to D2C. Only been installed a few days, so we shall see how it performs…it is an improvement over decade-old carpet and split-brick in laundry, kitchen-diner, hall and foyer. Considering doing the front two rooms as well.
