Site Experience FeedbackMay 6, 2026
I’ve been trying to diagnose a check engine light issue on my truck and came across code P0720. I already replaced both the input and output speed sensors, but the code still returned, so my next step was to replace the output speed sensor (VSS) wiring pigtail connector.
I originally checked AutoZone, and the part was around $120 including shipping and tax, but it wasn’t even in stock locally. I decided to look online and was surprised to find it much cheaper.
On Parts Geek, I found the same part listed for about $56, and after selecting my vehicle year and confirming compatibility, the total came to $76.65 shipped. There were only a few in stock, so I ordered it right away.
Overall, it was a simple and satisfying experience, especially because I’m working with a tight budget right now. Finding a more affordable and available option online really helped and saved me money while still getting the correct part I need to fix my truck.
