Online order, corrected and then added to another order. The updated order had an incorrect color area rug that was declined. Dining table and chairs installed. Customer service set up a delivery of the correct area rug. Customer service contacted me to confirm delivery. I specifically asked if installation was included, as I have had neck surgery and currently having shoulder and elbow problems that are being managed by an orthopedic doctor. She assured me that installation was included as we had selected “premium delivery” on our initial order. However, the delivery guy told us it was delivered only. He then called his supervisor that also said delivery only. We accepted because we didn’t want to wait an additional 5 days for things to be sorted out. I called customer service, who had no response other than “I’ll refund the delivery charge”. She had no empathy when I told her my madical issues. I asked for a supervisor and she said “I am the supervisor”. Needless to say, I’m unsure if I’d ever purchase from City or recommend City to any friends/family here in South Florida. I have lived here for 23 years, my spouse 31 years.
