I had a very disappointing experience with Benefit Cosmetics. I placed an online order on April 22 and paid for expedited shipping. The next morning at 9 AM, I called customer service to cancel the order because I had to travel unexpectedly.
The representative kept me on hold and delayed the process for almost an hour, claiming the team was not responding, and promised to follow up via email. I only received an email 5 hours later stating that the order could not be canceled because it had already been shipped.
However, I later found out that the order did not actually leave their facility until April 24 — which clearly means there was enough time to cancel it when I requested. Despite paying for fast shipping, the package still had not arrived by April 27, and I had already traveled.
On top of that, I have been sending emails and contacting them through their page for the past 3 days with no response at all. Completely ignoring customers is unacceptable.
This is extremely unprofessional. They refused to cancel the order, delayed my request unnecessarily, ignored multiple follow-ups, and did not honor the expedited shipping I paid for. Very poor customer service and lack of transparency. I do not recommend ordering online from them.
