Post-Delivery FeedbackJul 10, 2026
The Tucson Bassett Furniture is a lovely store with excellent customer service.
However, when our new custom sofa was delivered it had multiple defects which was extremely disappointing after waiting for delivery. The damage to the sofa was caused by poor quality control at factory, and perhaps shipping, because the sofa was encased in cardboard and heavy plastic when delivered. So basically, employees didn't care. Who is the quality control officer, the ball was dropped.
To repair the sofa, Bassett has ordered new front, new back, and two replacement cushion
covers. When these arrive, Bassett's contracted "TouchUp Home" will come to my home and re-build the sofa. Honestly, I am expecting this to go badly. We didn't pay 4,000 to have a sofa pieced together in our living room. Bassett would not simply re-order brand new sofa. Question: Does the board of directors, the Chairman, CEO, or Plant Manager read customer reviews? I would seriously question the work ethic in the manufacturing and supply chain. I am an "exacting" person and could do a better job, demanding quality and precision. Come on, set your standards higher.
