Pissed off customer

I ordered a side mirror for one of our GMC trucks. Order status updates were good, was delivered on time but when I opened it to install the mirror it was damaged, one of the mounting bolt studs was bent and the mirror was loose on the base. I called support, customer service rep was polite and friendly but said all I could do is return it and buy another one. I was told I would probably have to pay the return shipping. I questioned why and was told that was policy. He said he would escalate it and I would get a confirmation email to submit info and pics of the damaged parts and someone would make a decision of I had to pay for shipping. I was told the whole process to get a new mirror would be about two weeks. This is fucking absurd. I received a damaged product and I have to pay the return shipping and deal with a bunch of bullshit for two weeks to get another one. I will never order from this crappy company again and I will tell everyone not to buy from you.
