I recently had an experience with PartsGeek while trying to diagnose and fix an issue on my 1998 Dodge Ram 2500. I was dealing with a P0720 speed sensor code and had already replaced both the input and output speed sensors, but the check engine light still kept coming back on. After doing more research, I realized the issue could possibly be the wiring pigtail connector for the output speed sensor.
I first checked local auto parts stores like AutoZone, and they quoted me around $120 after shipping and taxes for the connector, plus it wasn’t even available locally. Since money is a little tight for me right now, I decided to search online and came across PartsGeek. I was honestly surprised at how much cheaper the exact part was compared to the local stores. I found the connector listed for around $56 before taxes and shipping, and after entering my truck’s information, everything matched up correctly. The final total came out to about $76.65, which was still way more affordable than what I was being quoted elsewhere.
What I liked most was the large selection of parts and how easy it was to search by vehicle year, make, and model. It gave me confidence that I was ordering the correct part for my truck. The website also showed stock availability, which made me feel better about ordering instead of wondering if the part was actually available.
