I need the lower chrome valance for my AMG GL63. I entered my car make and model , surveyed the options and decided on one and ordered it. Turns out it does not fit because it is made for a Mercefes GL350.
So I decided to return it. The return process makes you feel like a criminal for wanting to return a product. They asked if I had a GL350 and made me put in my VIN number. Because they sold me a product not Intended for my truck, they are going to charge me a 20% restocking charge. This is ridiculous. The product cost $120. I have to pay for shipping back to them (probably $25 because it is a very big box) and then the restocking fee would be about $25. So 120 minus 25 minus 25 is $70. So I ordered from these people are part they said would fit my vehicle but won't a $120 part and because of their computer system's error, I lose 50 dollars. Tell you what, instead of all this ridiculous return policy, I am just going to keep the item and take the loss. But I can assure you 100% that i will never order anything from PartsGeek again. You need to examine how Amazon does it because they are like the Chik-fil-a of shipping products to you and returning them on their dime. Their business practices have made Bezos the 2nd richest man in the world. No danger of PartsGeek upper mgt doing that. Take a lesson from Chik-fil-a (fast and the customer is always right) and Amazon (not what you want or need, sure we'll ship it back on our dime and give you 100% of your money back). You have a lot to learn, Geeks. Sincerely, William Cantrell
