I surely wanted to have a positive experience with Parts Geek, but the total disregard to the packaging of my order was beyond belief. I picked the package up this morning from the post office 8/15/2025. the cardboard box was all torn, and the worst part the alternator had no protection, other than a little bubble wrap that wasn't even covering the alternator. The back section where the electronics are covered with a plastic cover had hit all around the box. The stud that you connect the battery cable to was sticking out of the box. The box had at least two inches on all sides that it bounced around in during it trip.Why didn't your people just put some of the heavy duty paper on all sides to stop it from tearing the box apart? I worked in a shipping and receiving facility for 8 years and we received some highly valuable items and we shipped out the same. We never had a claim. This is a total disregard and respect to a customer that only wanted to give your company a try, none of the other parts suppliers have shipped anything like this to me. I am very concerned this alternator will not work or fail early because of the packaging. And right away if it fails you will just say we don't cover installed electronics ,what a scam.You are all probably laughing at this by now but just think even how big you are, your future depends on treating people right, and your shipping department is the worst I have dealt with. I truly wish this would have worked out, now I feel I am stuck, and guess what this is the first complaint letter I have written to a parts supplier. I am sure I will not hear anything about this from your company.....
