I ordered a set of rear calipers for my Lincoln MKT. I received 2 right ones instead of a left and right. I did not realize this until the mechanic I hired to do my brakes was already in the midst of doing it. He used one of the right ones included in the box and we had to buy a left one locally to finish the job on my vehicle. I called customer service to let them know of the situation and they informed me that I needed to return the ENTIRE PURCHASE, then proceeded to REPURCHASE the SAME PARTS that were shipped incorrectly and that once they received my return they would process my refund in SEVEN TO TEN DAYS. They wanted me to spend ANOTHER $148.00, which I DO NOT HAVE. There was ALSO A BROKEN BOLT on the caliper that we did end up using so we used one from the extra that we had in the box.
When I called to explain the issue to customer service and explained that I would be returning 1 right rear caliper minus a bolt, the agent proceeded to repeat himself as if reading from a script that this was not how it worked and he could not accept the return.
I ENDED UP HAVING TO SPEND TWICE AS MUCH MONEY, and all I am asking for is a refund on the parts that could not be used. It is not my responsibility to photograph, package, label, etc. I was sent the incorrect items. I would like my money back.
This is only the second time ordering from you.
The first was flawless.
Please do not leave this as my last impression.
