Post-Delivery FeedbackJan 17, 2026
The availability was there, the price seemed to goog to be true but after reading reviews, I moved forward with the purchase of an alternator for my f-150. Waited the 7 days and it arrived in time and we'll packaged. The packing included what appeared to be a QC report on the unit and said it checked out good to go. Eager to get my wifes everyday driver back on the road, I installed it the first non-rainy day (2 days later) we had. After installation and reassembling the front end of the truck, I fired the truck up and after idling for about 20 seconds, the battery light illuminated in the dash cluster. I had the diagnostics ran on the charging system and the alternator was no good. So, here i am going through the entire process again but instead of paying $169.99 plus tax, delivery, and other fees (totaling $200+) for a too good to be true deal, I will go to the local parts house and pay $580 plus for a reputable name brand and go from there. I have yet to repackage and attempt a return for refund but will definitely write a review regarding that process.
