So it’s been a while since I have made Any type of large order from original parts group with all of the competition for online parts ordering it’s crazy. Why so many people still use OPG because of the outrageous prices they charge for shipping and they charge for shipping of anything. It doesn’t matter how small it is. I remember I ordered a cigarette lighter and cigarette lighter housing for 68 Che and believe it or not it was $49 for the cigarette lighter and $49 for the housing and they charged me like $16 to ship it and it took more than a week, now I know the quality can be high sometimes!!! but I have found so many parts on eBay, Amazon and frankly two or three other places and for the most part it’s free shipping definitely on Amazon and much cheaper on Amazon. They just don’t carry the large selection of parts as OPG , but ebay does and you can usually find it on eBay with free shipping. so I remember a couple years back I ordered probably more than $10,000 worth of parts from OPG and I cannot believe how much money I was charged for shipping, so now I remember why I quit using OPG and this last time I ordered is 68 Chevy El Camino grill and they could not tell me if mounting hardware came with it or not in the end. I was told mounting hardware did come with it since they didn’t sell it separately when I got the grill. There was no mounting hardware and not only that very poor packaging the box was bent severely and I took pictures of it in the post office and opened it in the post office in front of the employee and several customers and sure enough the grill was bent in 6 to 7 different places They were all minor, but yes, it took me more than an hour and a half to bend it back and in the process I cut two of my fingers. So after this last experience feeling like the parts were overpriced shipping was definitely way too high. I will only use original parts group when I absolutely 100% have to thank you, Bill. Oh yeah, and I don’t even wanna get started on back orders your charged for shipping, but you aren’t charged for the part and you do not know when you’re gonna get it. Why ask me what the issue is if you are only going to allow me to select one topic when there are several.

Couple of things about OPG. Your search engine is horrible. 1) It doesn't find items despite pointed search arguments. 2) It will give you sometimes hundreds of results that are irrelevant making it hard for me to find the item I'm looking for. Examples.... Keep in mind. If I have a car selected....Lets say 1965 Chevelle. THAT IS WHAT I'M INTERESTED IN! Stop showing items from other cars. I'll expand my search I don't find what I'm looking for. 1) I was searching for a throttle lever grommet. Nothing showed in the results. When I searched for just "grommet", I found what I needed. Why? Its a throttle level grommet! Also, the item showed as discontinued....Does this mean its not available? The website allows you to buy it. Will I receive it? 2) Pretty much self-explanatory. So many irrelevant items in the search results. When I was research the throttle lever grommet, It was showing me 1) Stuff not even for my selected car 2) Irrelevant items that had nothing to do with the search. Makes it hard to find what you are looking for. Gets frustrating. Your marketing departments strategy makes my mind spin ever time I go to your site.

There was only one time that I had ordered a part that was available at the time it was ordered however, it took a couple weeks to be notified that the part was out of stock. I then cancelled the order not knowing the wait time for a restock. But my overall evaluation and experience with OPG on a scale of 1-10, is a 10. Great performance, great parts!

Positive experience. I do recommend more interior options like soft door panel and seat upholstery kits. OEM style soft dash kits would be great. Those are an oddly difficult item to find and would probably do well.

Was extremely pleased with what I ordered except for one small little thing one of the parts I ordered was missing some parts when I called customer service they got things straightened out very quickly and in no time I had the parts I needed. There was one thing I was disappointed about though I was considering a fuel tank kit but was told delivery on the tank would be about 4 months. In my opinion this is unacceptable especially when another supplier said they could have it at my door step in 5 days. Really liked the parts I got and was pleased with customer service and delivery time on the parts I got and am planning on ordering more parts from opg but some areas could use a little work.
