It’s very difficult to find these classic pewter engravable jewelry/treasure boxes anymore. I like to give them as graduation gifts- it’s something you’d probably never buy fir yourself but will keep forever. I used to get them from Empire Silver but when I looked for them online, found the products I wanted under the Mikasa banner.

two dishes arrived broken, but it was super easy to contact them. they are replacing them. the dishes are lovely and much less than other plates I was considering.

I have had the Italian Countryside dinnerware for 15-20 years. I find that the newer pieces do not have as fine a detail as the older ones. This is disappointing to me. Of course I’m glad the pattern is still available but wish it were as beautiful as the older pieces.

I unpacked my plates as soon as they arrived last night and love them!! Sadly one was chipped on the edge. I took a picture and sent an email to customer service. I was incredibly, pleasantly shocked to have a positive response this morning!! Talk about customer service! A replacement plate is on the way!!

I always loved Mikasa products. Quality is outstanding. Beautiful design. However, the most important is the weight of the product. My Mikasa plates and bowls are so light and so durable at the same time. My white plates are still snow white even after some period of use. Will definitely buy Mikasa products again

Tracking the shipment required downloading an app, which was not good. One of the packages was left outside door - thankfully no one took it. The products were packaged well and look great!

I would highly recommend Mikasa. My husband and I purchased our first set of Italian Countryside dishes from Mikasa in 1988. Our most recent order replaced some of our original set. The dishes have been microwaved, washed in the dishwasher, and endured daily living for 35+ years.

Although Mikasa doesn't ship/deliver a quickly as some other merchants, the items are indeed lovely, they were carefully packed to arrive in good condition and I will appreciate using them for many years to come.

1.) I purchased my first Mikasa dinnerware for four people almost 30 years ago. I love the Garden Harvest pattern and its colours. 2.) Over the years, my Mikasa dinnerware has moved with me from northwest USA, down to the country of Panama, up to Great Lakes area of USA, and finally down to Southern USA. 3.) The dinnerware has beautifully withstood the tests of time, daily usage, several household moves, countless dishwasher washings. 4.) The only reason I recently ordered the 4 salad plates is because that is the plate size we currently the most and need extra ones in that size.

I only wanted to note that the dishes I purchased were a slightly different colour and size from the set I have. I expect this is because it’s been about 20 years since my first purchases. I will keep the items I purchased; but will not likely buy any more from this line.

After seeing my daughters use Mikasa bone china, I decided to give it a try. I wanted something durable, lightweight, and pretty. I was disappointed not to find bread-and-butter-sized plates to match the Audrina pattern, as well as no serving pieces. I did purchase a plain white Delray serving platter and bowl. The 35% off and free shipping made buying from Mikasa directly a good choice. The colors seem slightly less distinct than the photos showed, but they are very acceptable. There is one small blemish on three different plates, but I am probably the only one who will notice. I didn’t think it was worth the time or effort to try for replacements. Overall, I am pleased with our new dishes.

I was very pleased to find the vase I purchased. Ordering was easy. It was a wedding gift and shipped directly to the couple. I was notified when it would be delivered and it was. The delivery was quick which I appreciated. They sent me a photo and it was beautiful on their table. I would recommend ordering from Mikasa.

While i love the brand and have purchased from retailers (Macy’s) with no issues, i was astonished at the low quality of packaging the product for delivery. Considering that the order came straight from a fragile goods company, the package arrived deformed due to lack of protective materials like bubble wrap, packing paper what have you. My plates arrived broken and unsafe to use. Equally disappointing was the refund policy. While they eventually provided the refund, their policy requires a group photo of broken goods. I declined further handling of broken pieces and refused to risk cutting myself or accidentally ingesting broken pieces to do a photo op. I opened the package, saw broken pieces, took a photo, and discarded the package but i refused the whole group photo op their policy required.

Ordered Trellis plates, cups, bowls. Love the white color and pattern. All pieces came intact and in perfect condition. The outer box, though, arrived somewhat open on the top and appeared to be re-taped. When I saw it I thought that the dishware would be damaged. Luckily it was not. Mikasa has really beautiful dishware. I have other Mikasa patterns as well. I am very happy so far with my purchase and was able to get in on some sale prices. Thank you!
