The reason I purchased the set because I like to use pretty dishes for every day use and formal dinner. It is dishwasher microwave freezer safe. When we invite friends for dinner I don’t have to wash dishes by hand. I can just put them in dishwasher. The custom service was very helpful and I got email back from them in an hour👍

In 1994 I purchased my first set-italian countryside from an outlet in Arizona. Ive added pieces(serveware) here and there. And if a piece breaks i replace. Love the pattern. Purchasing through the online forum is easy! Im glad I can utilize this. Love the quality also.

I wish Mikasa carried Italian Countryside (IC) deep bowls with no sloping sides for each table setting. The bowls Mikasa now carries for each table setting are too shallow and have two inch wide sloping sides, resulting in them not fitting on a standard sized table.

I am a long time customer of mikasa dinnner sets ... I recently hosted an event and few days before i realized i am 2 dinner plates short .... i was very pleased to see that you had it online and offered 2 day delivery .... i paid the extra cost for it and it was suppose to arrive on time ..... i was very upset when i realized a day before that it wont be on time ..... i paid extra for 2 day delivery and it was had 5 days to my event ... and it did not arrive on time......

Wrong pattern 1st shipped. After contacting Mikasa they sent a replacement of the original pattern and didn’t require return of the dinnerware sent in error - Kudos to Mikasa for not requiring this of me and I plan to donate it.

I’d been looking for my perfect casual dinnerware for weeks after retiring all my vintage Fiesta and Frankhoma. I saw the Gourmet Basics Jade on the Mikasa website and knew I’d found the perfect set. The description of the Jade dinnerware did say there would be variations in the glaze. But after unpacking everything there’s really only one of the six pieces that has much color at all. Two or three just look black. I was a little disappointed, but hubby likes them so we’ll keep them. Otherwise ordering was easy and the pieces were very affordable. The packing was phenomenal which was important because I watched the delivery driver drop the box. The delivery was delayed, but that wasn’t your fault. Completely unrelated story. I spied a complete set of Mikasa Royal Glimmer at the local thrift shop and I think I let out a gasp and a little wimper as I clutched it to my bosom while I sprinted for the checkout. Okay, maybe I didn’t sprint with all the cups akimbo on the mountain of plates and bowls. Anyway - Thank You

Order took 10 days to deliver. I can order from Amazon at 10AM and have it delivered the same day by 5PM. Go figure! When the order did arrive it was incomplete! Ordered 2 sets of 4 cups and only received 1 set of 4 cups?? Contacted a gentleman named Ben at 516-683-5325, explained the problem, and he was going to rectify the mistake BUT to call back in a few days to get a delivery date. I suppose another 10 days?

I ordered a dress for my daughter. The only issue I had is that the dress is much shorter in person than the photos suggest. My daughter is typically a 2T, I ordered a 3T, and the dress hit well above the knee. It was a charming dress, but unfortunately a totally different look than what I hoped for. The order and return process were incredibly easy. I’m so delighted with how simple the return process was that I’d happily recommend you to anyone who asked.

I purchased the lemo teapot set for a birthday gift for a dear friend. She absolutely loved it and she sent me a picture of it. Ive been using French Countryside dishes since 1997. Some of my dishes are showing age or chipped. I ordered 4 each of 5 sizes to mix in with what I have. Shame on you Mikasa! The dishes I received do not have the beauty of my 29 year old dishes. The design patern is so light you can hardly see it. They don't even look the same the pattern is so watered down. I will keep them but I can't even begin to describe how disappointed I am. Cheap looking imitations that are still expensive.
