I do not like how loud the UV sterilizer runs. I thought it was supposed to be quiet. That’s the advertisement anyway. Why not use a DC pump in it. That’s why it is so loud.

One of the suction cups that is supposed to support the pieces of glass was missing out of the box (order for for a fluval glass lily pipe set 17mm, with hose). There were supposed to be 4 suction cups but there were only 3 in the box. It is a good product that I wanted to use, so I’m just using 3 suction cups,… but I could really use the 4th

I really like the company. I like that they have different filter bundles for each of the canister filters. It is also nice that they have a discount you can use everytime. Fast shipping as well.

I recently set up two aquariums with canister filters. I needed to replace some of the filters and wanted a bundle for the monthly and six month filter changes. Marine & Reef carried the bundles and were also reasonably priced. The bundles simplified the maintenance experience which was otherwise confusing to me when reading the manual from the manufacturer (several filters listed in the manual that did not come with the filter and are actually optional, specific use case scenarios). Additionally, marine and reef had videos showing how to replace the filters. These videos were very helpful and I watched both ahead of time and as I was replacing my filters. Finally, shipping was fast. I live in rural southwest Colorado and things take forever to get to me. They are located in Arizona and the box was to our house within two days! Overall, I am so happy with my experience and I am happy to share why through this review.

Great place to order from if on the west coast. Shipping comes fast. Marine and reef always seems to have what I need. It's best to email them and when you email them they get right back to you. I prefer being able to get a love person when I call in but I understand overhead costs.

Caveat Emptor! Very restricted return policy. Item was not exactly what I wanted and requested to return. Which was allowable under very strict conditions and several charge backs shipping deductions restock fees etc which could be as much as 100 percent of cost. After choosing not to return and throwing out original package realized accessories were not correct. READ THE FINE PRINT WILL NEVER TAKE A CHANCE OF ORDERING FROM THERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!

The package was shipped very quickly, tracking details were provided very quickly, package arrived earlier than expected. Package was well-packed, secured and keeping the items intact. However due to the heat wave, one of the items (a liquid supplement) felt overly warm due to lack of temperature control. A microfiber cloth was provided which was a pleasant and functional bonus!

i ordered 2 hydros controllers, both said FedEx 2 day delivery. Only one was delivered with 2 days, the other took a week. I will recommend marineandreef to my friends because I would like to believe that the 2 day delivery statement wasn't a lie but rather a mistake.

They carry a lot of Fluval parts. Only place I found that had a Fluval 407 replacement motor in stock. Often I find them to have the best price and they always have a coupon code but doesn’t matter bc when you’re a returning customer, you always get a discount. They are always on top of emails when I ask questions and seem to have infinite patience

Trying to get Cascade 1000 parts. Found Marine and Reef are a good source since most people don't carry that brand for replacement parts .I need another part, but they too did not have it and have no idea if or when it will come in. Marine and Reef, good....Cascade, bad.
