I am rating and writing about my overall online MAC experience and not just about today's purchase. In the last 2 weeks, I have tried to make the purchase that I made today more than 4 times and each time I was not successful. I contacted online support various times and had to wait for a VERY long time to receive help (more than an hour) and when speaking to representative another hour, I still was not able to resolve my issues.
The website had many glitches and was the WORST online experience ever! I'm not exaggerating. Seriously, the WORST ever. I mentioned it to the representative as well. And I wasn't even trying to do anything complicated. One of the times, I only wanted to redeem my bday gift for which I had to communicate with MAC 3 times to finally be able to get it resolved, and the other one, I was trying to redeem points and purchase products (my order today) and I communicated with MAC at least 2 times and still could not get it resolved.
It looks like the issue has been resolved on the website because I was able to make the purchase and it was not as difficult and didn't seem as glitchy. So if that's the case, THANK YOU and hope it continues like this. But I still wanted to mention my experience because it was very stressful and I almost decided to never buy on MAC online again..... thought I'd give it a try this one last time, and it worked. So thanks.
