Unfortunately, there’s not much I can say about this purchase because it’s still back ordered. In fact, the backorder date has been pushed back an additional 10 days. So, while I’m hopeful that this product will be as good as all my other L.L. Bean purchases have been in the past and that I will be able to give a great review about it, I will not know until probably July. I do think that it’s unfortunate that a carryon bag with spinners ( an item that would likely be in high demand) was back ordered for three months and not readily available.

Beans is no longer the local company it was in 80s and 90s. It's a big corporation with big corporate policies that prioritize the bottom line over community. Probably what is needed for it to survive, but it galls me that - as a small, Maine non-profit, we have to pay $60 bucks a pop for a 40 tote bag that a decade ago probably would have been donated to us or at least offered at a discount. No - we can't purchase 5,000 fleece vests like Idexx, but that wouldn't have mattered when Mr. Gorman was still around. I will still purchase branded tote bags from Beans because they are still made in Maine and still produced responsibly -- but I will always feel grouchy about it.

Definitely disappointed to see the logo application fee jump from $6.95 to $11.95. Wish you had more variety, catalog seems the same for the past 2 years. Wish you had trucker hats.

Overall good experience. Most sites require a minimum number of items and I was happy to get a single vest in the color I wanted (dark green) from a good brand. I would like to have uploaded an .svg file instead of .png since .svg files scale better, but hopefully that doesnt have any bearing on quality of logo embroidery.
