Overall, the experience was a very good one. I think that there was one hiccup at the start, which was that there seemed to be a disconnect between what I wanted and what LL Bean was going to provide. I wanted a logo and I was very specific that my employer needed to look a certain way. LL Bean did not seem able (and at some points willing) to put the logo on in accordance with my employer's wishes. One person in the process was not very helpful. One person was extremely helpful. One person was awesome. I won't name names, but I will just say that it was the final person who I dealt with on the phone who seemed truly interested in helping me resolve my issue. We compromised and redesigned, and got it done. I will say that some of the logos on the final product did not seem perfectly aligned, but I'm not going to return anything because it was close enough. The bottom line is that I need to come to LL Bean with logos that require much less sewing and design work than what I was originally expecting. I have been shopping with LL Bean for about 45 years and won't stop because a transaction was not perfect. Overall, this was a 9 out of 10.
