Dissapointed about Loyalty program

I came today to the website as I remembered that today was my anniversary date so I wanted to redeem my loyalty points before they expired only to my surprise that they had already expired. This is not the first time I tried to redeem but in my previous purchase I did not realize that my loyalty product was removed from my cart inadvertently when I added the promotional code that was announced at the time. Why the 2 offers cannot be combined? This is the only loyalty program that I know that forces you to purchase even more products in order to let you claim something, that is not a real loyalty program, that is just a marketing scheme and I do not appreciate it. You are going to lose loyal customers like me if you don’t do something change this. I am very disappointed that after spending hundreds of dollars I need to spend even more and even pay for shipping just to get a loyalty complimentary product.
