Good price on the hoof boots that I ordered. But they came in two separate deliveries. And the first boot that arrived was used and not in great shape. Bottom scraped up and outside faded. glue/stiching was worn. Maybe it was a demo? Or customer returned it after use? The second boot that arrived a few days later was new. But now I have two boots that don’t even match. And they have different straps. I guess one is the old version and one is the new version.

I ordered a helmet specifically because I needed a new 1. I then decided to throw on another blanket that was on sale since I was ordering anyway. Then I received the blanket and no helmet. The helmet is not in stock and they refunded. ......well great proceeded back to website and still on their listed as in stock. O thats lovely since its not in stock for me. Very frustrated

I received tread step tall, riding boots, and both boots are scuffed like someone wore them There is dirt on the bottoms of both boots Also, one of the boot inserts is missing

Was ordering an item for a friend here from over seas. She wanted a pair of half chaps. We looked at an item, placed it in the cart - did not order. Not sure of the size still decided to recheck - went back to the item in the cart and it was gone. We ordered the next size down. This item, like all items were on final sale - Dover Saddlery is going out of business. They had my credit card number, from a purchase a long time ago. They sent both items - different sizes.. We only ordered one - They won't take a return since it stated all sales or finally. Only ordered one item. Now I am stuck with a item I personally don't want, would not fit me. I will have to sell this item and even at the sell price not get my money back. Same on Dover Saddlery.

It was difficult to get anything done -- the website kept lagging, and the newer corporatized organization of the site made locating items a little bit more tricky. Practically nothing was stocked. Other than that, it was the same, reliable Dover Saddlery.

I ordered from the clearance sale and the prices were great the delivery was great - I somehow miss hit the size I wanted for the boot (wanted full got extra full - so they don’t fit- no returns for clearance) same clearance I bought a jacket - but when it came time to ship there was no jacket. Refunded but bummed.

The discount on all the items I purchased were super good. I got a Noble outfitter shirt and ovation breast collar for my horse mojo and then I also got a leather brow band bracelet which was super cute and I honestly wear every day. Dover is definitely one of my favorite brands.

I have traded with Dover saddlery since I have owned horses. I loved it when Dover had a brick and mortar store at TIEC in NC. I spent a LOT of money there as I could examine the products first hand; sorry they closed the store!

don’t buy anything else from them the prices looked good online i bought the saddle and stirrup leathers i have wanted for years they didn’t ship the saddle and cancelled the order for it shipped the stirrup leathers so now i have no saddle from them but stirrup leathers kinda sucks and the customer support i emailed did nothing and didn’t respond even though i emailed numerous times, very disappointing in how this was handled i have purchased many things from dover over the years in store from my local one which they closed and the online one apparently doesn’t show accurate stock…

Limited selection, but happy to have found a couple useful items still in stock. I am a professional in the sport and shop at my local Dover store at least weekly. So very sad to hear about Dover closing. Didn’t believe it at first! Have had hundreds of students shop Dover over the years. End of an era!

This is the third order I have placed with Dover Saddlery. None of which has been fullfilled... Do not say you have one item in stock and then cancel my order multiple times saying you cannot fulfill the order due to inventory. If you do not have the item remove it from the website instead of gaslighting customers into placing orders. This will be my final attempt at purchasing a helmet. If it does not go through again I will be extremely disappointed.

Ordered helmet along with boots. Got the boots with no problem several days later. Helmet was canceled with zero explanation as to why. Multiple in stock so unsure reason. I emailed to ask what was going on, and never recieved an answer. Ordered another helmet 2 days later, and it's been sitting waiting to be shipped now for 4-5 days, with no status updates. So no idea if i will actually get a helmet that I paid several hundred for or not at this point.

Dover Saddlery has really good and well made products! I recommend Dover to anyone that is looking for products that are wanting good quality products. Shipping has never been the best but I can’t blame Dover. (More the delivery driver) every package I’ve gotten the box/package has always gotten damaged. But I’ve only had to send back one item which was a pair of white breeches the bag got torn and black almost like greese got on the pants and I was very up set. I was gonna use those for my senior pictures and never got to wear my show clothes because I didn’t have any clean breeches that didn’t have a stain on them. So I was very disappointed in that. But I don’t blame Dover for that I’m sure they packaged it well. I wish delivery drivers care more about the packages people order. So with that i recommended Dover a 10/10 the main store I shop at and that carries other products. (I will be very sad to see it go out of business and I’m not sure where to shop because some of the other stores I’ve tried products from aren’t as good as dovers)
