Don’t purchase anything you might need to return. Apparently they are going out of business, which they do not advertise. They only advertised that they were having a warehouse sale. After the fact I learned I could not exchange my boots for another size. Nowhere on my order did it say final sale. If I had know this, I wouldn’t have purchased to begin with. They are being very deceptive with what is a closing sale and apparently everything is a final sale! So disappointed ina company we had historically loved.

My riding instructor told me that there was a sale on at Dover Saddle and to buy same cool shirts for riding, so I did! I bought two shirts and a nice raincoat. I'm pleased with all, for they are well made and of high quality. Plus, they arrived quickly. I will gladly order again for any and all of my horseback riding needs!

The website is simple to use I have bought online 5 different times within the last 30 days. From tall boots, breaches, and today show gloves. I wish there was more of a selection for men’s breeches that are not so tight or form fitting. Sad to hear Dover is closing. I go to my local store to try on helmets & buy the one online if the store doesn’t have it so I know my size. Overall happy with dover sad to see them be going soon.

I a number of products. All but one worked out. When I went to return, I was not able to. Company is liquidating but the ONLY notice given was on the home page in small header. No where else did it mention All Sales Final. If you are denying all returns, it should be noted on every page with every item and for sure in the cart. I would never have ordered multiple, expensive items if I wasn't able to return the one that didn't fit. Very deceptive and disappointed.

My experience with Dover Saddlery was overall positive. They have a great selection of products and the ordering process was easy. The main downside was the return process. I wish there were free returns by mail, as that would be much more convenient for customers who do not live near a store location. Because of that, returns can be a bit of a hassle. I would still recommend Dover Saddlery for their product selection and service, but improving the mail return policy would make the experience even better.

I don’t know why on earth I would be asked to complete a survey for a company that is liquidating all of its inventory and seemingly is going out of business. All sales are final. There’s nothing anyone at THE Company can do to help customers who are looking to exchange. That’s a full move asking to complete a survey. What a shame to lose Dover.

I called about a product tild the sales lady that I wanted to come in Monday and see the vest . I asked her 3 tiens to go over the price with me because in the past people say one price and then I get there and they change it. She quoted the say price 3 times. 407.55 . Monday comes im heading into town to buy the vest I call first to confirm and a totally different price was quoted I was not happy they put the girl on the phone who told me the price the day before and she said she didnt understand but it now was 695 .00 and there was nothing she could do about it.Again Im not happy I had verified this 3 times .so then I said I see it on you website for cheaper than what the in store price is. She says yes she could order it for me with free shipping. I told her I didnt need her for that.. I was going to buy a used vest for 300 and I sent it back because this women in the Charlottesville va store told me 407.55. And then to be quoted a much larger price! .I have and will continue to tell people not to shop there.

My daughter and I enjoyed shopping for these items. Since there isn't a store nearby, I had to order the products online and spent some time researching them beforehand. Since my daughter is outgrowing her current gear, I purchased the same brand of paddock boots and gloves, both one size up. The quality of the products is still excellent, and they arrived on time. However, the helmet is slightly too big, and I don't think my daughter will be able to wear it anytime soon. I wish there were a local store nearby where she could try on helmets before purchasing to ensure the right fit. Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of the products and the shopping experience.

1st item I received the bottle was broken because of bad packaging. You’re sending a replacement. 2nd item - the bit looks used with teeth marks on it. I haven’t called about this yet. 3rd item received- the wormer was badly packaged and looks damaged but I haven’t tried to use yet so I will see if it is usable and then contact customer service about this and the bit.

I have loved Dover Saddlery for decades. I am crushed that it is likely to close. I was given a gift card and when I found out about the financial troubles, I decided to use it ASAP. I found the inventory quite low, but fortunately, found something I wanted. I ordered two things in order to get free shipping. Dover took off the lesser item, which was fine with me as it was a horse treat, but I couldn’t figure out what happened until I saw a couple of emails. Fortunately, I still got the free shipping.
