Today's experience was less than good. The La Mer website was painfully slow and it wasn't my computer -- all other websites I visited before and after were fast and quickly responded to my requests. The worst part is the free sample offerings. I come to this website to be able to try out new things, but today, the two available samples were the same thing and was something I had already tried. I was hoping to try the NEW Balancing Treatment Lotion, but no samples of it were available. In order to try it, I will have to purchase the full-size version for $190, which is a big risk if I don't like it. As time goes on, it also doesn't seem like it's worth to be a "Waves de La Mer" participant. I have plenty of reward points to cash in, but the offerings currently available are terrible and uninspiring. I feel like I am better off purchasing La Mer products at Costco, which are heavily discounted, or even Nordstrom because as a loyalty member I will receive triple points on beauty purchases. I can then get cash back on the points I earn. Comparing La Mer to other luxury brand websites is embarrassing. Your products are expensive but you treat your loyal customers badly.
