I made an order with Clinique as the gwp and promos were appealing! My confirmation email showed though the promos etc were in my cart, they were not in my order confirmation email. I used chat to get help, and was told to recorder the purchase and cancel the first order without the promos etc. I did, but the cancelled order was delivered anyway. I screenshot the "cancel pending" status of that order but ? After getting 2 duplicate orders delivered, one with gifts and promos and one without, I contacted chat to see how to return one order. I was told to go to a "free standing store" and they would credit me the duplicate order. I was told Sephora was a free standing store. I went there and the managers had no idea they could refund Clinique internet orders so refused to do so!! That store trip was a waste of time, and my duplicate purchase was a waste of money. Both actions were advised by Clinique Chat!!! These Clinique reps should know what they are talking about. The same thing happened with an Estee Lauder purchase and the same reps told me to do the same thing - Re order the purchase to get the gwp and promos , and return unwanted orders to Sephora.
This is the fourth time I've typed out this story, but not contact from Clinique or Estee Lauder. Very frustrating and disappointing.
