I was online chatting, (apparently not with a human) about the failure to include the entire gift with purchase, in my order. After some time of chatting, the issue was never resolved. Then we re-tried, taking a different route, and (maybe) got a human, after which Clinique shipped one of the missing pieces in the gift with purchase. I never received the final piece in the gift with purchase. Which is fine I guess. I received most of the gift. I think when you order online, and meet the requirement to receive "gift with purchase" and have clicked on "build your gift" you should automatically receive your entire gift. When I bought Clinique in the actual stores, the clerks automatically gave the entire gift to me when I purchased the dollar amount of products required to receive the gift. I usually exceeded the dollar amount (which was the case this time as well). I love your products. I don't like the lack of customer service I received on this order. At one point on the original e-chat (apparently not with a real person) they suggested I return my entire order, and just re-order it? That makes no practical sense. I live on the other side of the country from where the Clinique is shipped from. I will continue to order Clinique, as I love the products. I'll be very cautious about "gift offers" though. I'd have ordered the products I ordered, at another time - perhaps when there was a sitewide sale, had it not been for the gift with purchase, which had many products I enjoy.
