I bought what I believe was a new Area Rug and it was actually in used condition. I had to return it to the store and I was not informed Customer Returns Dept closed at 6pm. Then I had to go in a second time to the store and a refund was given and shipping was not refunded though it was not my fault a new item was shipped rather than a new Area Rug.

I ordered two chairs on line and order accepted and paid. Only one delivered which I rejected because evidently the order for 2 was accepted but they only had one which they planned on delivering and sending the second one later only to find out product discontinued and there was no later. Should have told me this upfront.

We are very happy with the look of our chairs. We had them assembled in house so they arrived fully made. There is a scratch/nick in the wood of one of the chairs. Service was informed but has not contacted us yet. There is a small stain on one chair.

This is my second time trying to make a purchase. My first order was made on 7/7 and items were supposed to be ready in August. I just went into the store and cancelled the order due to the delays. I was very frustrated that I had no date given for when my it’s would be in stock and yet the furniture was still being sold in store and online with available dates.

Unfortunately, I would not recommend city home furniture. I placed an online order for a mattress, boxspring and a headboard bed set. I received the mattress and boxspring unfortunately I’m pretty sure it is used mattress. One side is soft. One side is firm and the dates on the tags don’t correlate. And they will not return it they said. The headboard bed set was slated to be delivered October 30 to November 5. But then when it came to delivery dates after I had ordered it it stated there was no available date for delivery? I would not recommend city home furniture to anybody. It has been a very stressful and just disheartening experience. I wanted to spend some money on my bed set because I think it’s very important, but I unfortunately am in tears over the mattress issue. I will still be trying to contact them to see if they will return it as I suffer from vestibular vertigo and having a bed that is so offkilter is not good for me. Anyways, I would not recommend city home.

After receiving the item it’s too small for our area(it wasn’t available to see at the store so we didn’t know) and to return it cost 99.00 on top of the 40 for shipping I paid $140 for something I didn’t keep but you get to resell. Seems not fair and a lot of money to lose.

I ordered the products because I was having family stay with me for my niece's baptism, the earliest they could get it to me was the day of the baptism so I asked for my delivery to be before noon about 4 days in advance. The chat bot told me they would mark it in my file. I get an email at 5:57 the day before saying my delivery would be between 12:30-3:30 when I am gone, I go back to the chat bot to reach out to a person and they say their office is closed at 6 so I couldn't reschedule the order. I sent an email back that the delivery time would not work and never got a response. The morning of I reached out to the associate and they said they would reach out to the driver to ask if they could meet me earlier to which they got no response. I get a call from the delivery driver asking to deliver the product and I tell them I'm not available. I finally get a call back from a city home associate saying the only thing they have in my file is the delivery driver calling and saying I'm returning the product, nothing about the other three reach out attempts that I made. Finally we rescheduled it after my family had already left so they slept on a mattress on the floor while they visited. The product just arrived.
