Post-Delivery FeedbackMay 10, 2026
My recent experience with City Furniture was extremely disappointing. I paid for threshold delivery, which was described as leaving the furniture in the lobby or mailroom — not full door delivery — and I was completely fine with that. However, City Furniture still required an elevator reservation from my building, even though I did not pay for that level of service.
I coordinated with my building management and secured a specific elevator reservation time as requested. On the day of delivery, no one arrived during the reserved window. When I contacted customer service, they were unhelpful and unable to provide any real solution. I repeatedly asked to speak with a supervisor and was never connected to one.
To make matters worse, customer service stated that the driver could not modify the route to accommodate the elevator reservation that City Furniture themselves required. Overall, the entire experience was frustrating, disorganized, and lacked proper customer support. Based on this experience, I would not recommend purchasing from City Furniture.h
