I wasn't sure what kind of wedding band I wanted, so we ended up making two separate three-hour trips to the nearest in-person location. The first trip to see what I was in the market for, and the second to really narrow down my options. I didn't feel any pressure either time to hurry up and choose, which was lovely because this is a really big decision to make.
Before scheduling our second appointment, I went through all my potential rings online and contacted customer support to make sure all the rings I wanted to try on were in store. It's too bad it's not standard to have the entire inventory in store, because even though I planned ahead, a ring I requested to try on wasn't there because there are only a few that hop from store to store, and somebody else already needed it.
The ring I ended up purchasing was one that wasn't even on my radar. The jeweler that helped us at our second appointment pulled it for me, and I was still overwhelmed with options. It took me a few days, but ultimately, I ended up falling in love with it. It took me a week or two to put the order in, but when it arrived early, I couldn't be happier.
Down the road, when my future husband and I are done having children, I plan on getting the same style ring and replacing the diamonds with everyone's birthstones. It will make for a beautiful stack, and I think it's so wonderful that I have the option to do that.
My engagement ring is from Brilliant Earth, so I knew my wedding band had to be Brilliant Earth as well. I'm very happy with both of our purchases so far, and will absolutely be a returning customer!
