Firstly, it took weeks for us to receive our trade account confirmation. We had to reach out multiple times to get the process moving forward.
Once we had our trade account established, we ordered samples for a table that our client wanted in their project. It took several more days of emailing back and forth to get the samples ordered, and our rep failed to mention that several of the samples we ordered and payed for were not offered for the product we wanted. We finally got that kink worked out and then it took another couple of weeks to receive the samples.
In each sample envelope (they were all shipped separately) there was a postcard saying, "Return Your Sample For A Full Refund!" but when we attempted to do the return, the website said the samples were not eligible for a return even though they had an accompanying postcard with a return process listed.
We have since spent several MORE weeks going back and forth with Steve Rogers trying to get that return process started for a refund.
All in all, this has been a horrendous process of leaving countless voicemails, attempting to connect via email, and even having to reach out to a Bassett local store to try to move the process along. It has been a wreck.
We may specify the table our client wants, but we will certainly recommend it. And if we do end up ordering, it will be our first and last order through Bassett.
We have worked in this industry for over a decade and specify thousands of dollars worth of furnishings for projects each year. We have never had an experience that was so poor working with a trade/furnishings company.
Super disappointed with the experience, and we won't be using Bassett again.
