The Avon - Official Store experience was okay. For the most part, the instructions were simple and easy to follow. I wish you could select and pay for or backorder items not in stock that are being restocked/replenished vs. going on a wish list and having to reorder later. So, product availability is an issue. However, I do understand if it does not come in that money would have to be refunded by the Ambassador/Rep. Agent. Avon products are great, but they do not carry a lot of items that I have been using for years and that is very disappointing. Avon products also have gotten increasingly high, but unfortunately, that is the times we live in now. Therefore, sales, discounts and special offers are a WELCOME and smart marketing tool if you want people to keep shopping and patronizing Avon or for that matter any merchant. I did not like the checkout process. I should be able to checkout as a guest and not be pigeon-holed into creating an account, receiving emails, texts and promotions as merchants bombard you and clog up your emails/texts with multiple/numerous contacts--ABSOLUTELY ANNOYING!!!!. I actually used to order from Avon on a regularly basis but do not anymore. As a result, I still had my old account and log in information in my password book and was able to use that information updating/tweaking it some to create an account even though I did not want or feel I should have had to in order to checkout. That was a "REALLY" moment!! Lastly, I will always be an Avon customer but will probably not order as much as I use to because as stated before, they do not carry a lot of things I used to purchase.
