I HATED the online experience with both the technology and the representatives (except the third person). The online people could not effectively assist me and 2 of the 3 disconnected when “going to get others” to assist. I have had a loyalty program membership for years but often purchase in person at a location. This time I tried to purchase online and it took HOURS to get help because my loyalty number expired and your app would not allow me to order. I then got a representative who guided me to the website and we fared no better there. I did receive an a promotional ad from Aveda via email and used it to order my products, but I still have no loyalty number and could not sign in otherwise. This was a NIGHTMARE of an experience. If I did not love the Aveda products, this experience with the online option and with the representatives would have made me pursue other options. Please do better technologically and with your representatives! My issue is still not resolved: can someone please contact me to ensure my loyalty number is either reinstated or that I receive a new one? I would like to use the online or app options for future purposes. Thank you.

It's a bit difficult to navigate the bar to go from hair, to skin, ect at the top of the page. A lot of the time when I move my mouse to go from the tab to the area that opened up it closes on me, or goes to the next tab over. It's pretty sensitive and irritating trying to get into it. Otherwise once I'm on the page I want it is very easy to understand and navigate.

I redeemed pointed for a voucher and never received it. I spent over 40 minutes in chat and eventually got my points back and was told to reorder. I did and again never received the voucher. I am NOT waiting to talk to a robot again who is not helpful. I tried calling the phone number and that was even worse. I love the product but this was honestly enough to make me reconsider. I am out 7,000 and $25 and the customer service with it sucked!

The customer service representative who assisted me was courteous and tried to be helpful. I had accumulated over 16,000 points and wanted to use them to purchase specific items that, unfortunately for me, were not on the "approved redeemable list." What's the point of accumulating points if I can't use them as "I" wish, not based on some arbitrary group of products that I would never purchase based on my own specific needs.I have been an Aveda customer for many years but I believe this will be my last purchase unless the use of rewards policy is revised.

My biggest complaint is the lack of comparison information regarding the various products, in particular the hair care products. Obviously, you want customers to try them all, but most of us would rather know what will work for us to be confident in Aveda. Please consider a chart that shows the standing of each product along a number of dimensions, e.g. volumizing, moisturizing, holding, heat protecting, etc. When so many products claim to do the same thing, it just makes you want to order nothing.
