Ordered Salamander audio rack. Went backorder, ok. I had to call and ask about estimated delivery twice. Customer service people were helpful and friendly. Item is very nice but should not cost $900 but that is Salamander not AA.

Brian Orcutt is very knowledgeable and responsive. Brian's explanations and recommendations for the Audioquest Carbon and Vodka HDMI Cables for my new Samsung NEO QLED 8K HDTVs - one for me and one for my Mother, were right on. My Mother and I both see a clear difference in the resolution quality and clarity, and the natural, warm and crisp colors when we watch TV and rent Movies with our Cable Service Providers. I have Verizon FiOS and my Mother has Spectrum Cable.

I purchased Audioquest type 8 speaker cable in bulk sizing , approximately 6 feet for my order . I have bought this same type speaker cable before, I am just getting this amount to use for a extra cable and to use with a center channel speaker or possibly a corner rear speaker unit for a 5.1 surround set up . The price per foot selection is nice to have especially for custom lengths or short runs under 8 feet . I am skilled at terminating the cable properly with banana connectors or pin insert connectors .

This is my 2nd attempt to place this order. Apparently, my first attempt last week was not successful. This may have been due to errors on my end. After a few days the order did not show up on my credit card and I had not received a confirmation from AA I reordered. But it wasfrustrating that at no point have I been able to speak directly to a human being at Audio Advisor about my order. Does Audio Advisor provide the customer status reports or interim updates on processing and shipping status? I hope so.

I am placing my order today after purchasing a cable that was on sale in the Audio Advisor, Inc Amazon storefront and necessitated a replacement. There were clear spots and areas of inhomogeneity within the gold plating on the connectors. Though on sale, I still expected the items to have arrived in a state reflecting good manufacturing. Hell, I would have preferred some sort of divulgence as “open box” instead of an item that should have never passes quality inspection. I am hopeful that the flagship store has better stock to draw from and that my previous two cables were just anomalies.

I bought a project turntable with an Ortofon cartridge, and it sounds incredible paired with my preamp, amp and tower speakers. I like the table's simple, clean design. The dust cover is perfectly integrated with the table.

The site does not feel super optimized for mobile. Email lightboxes are confusing and are difficult to close, almost abandoned the experience. But the site had the part I was looking for at the price I wanted and was mostly able to check out without hassle.

After our shared bank account was charged for the total amount (800$), my wife and I received an email informing us that the item is actually ongoing a backorder. I ordered the Marantz 40n and paid for faster delivery. I expected to receive it within two days. I heard nothing from Audio Advisor. Nothing! After a few days I called them. I was told they did not have the item in stock and that it was backordered for two weeks. They apologised for not communicating with me at all. I have a loaded travel schedule and will be interested to see if this is going to be sent when I am out of town.

My experience with Audio Advisor was great. They had the Ortofon test record that I needed to calibrate my turntable for a better price than the Ortofon website. They shipped the record quickly and it arrived in perfect condition. Couldn't be more happy with them.

A couple of links did not function properly for some reason. Perhaps the products have been discontinued; however, the links still exist on the website. The AudioQuest Black Mamba II RCA to RCA interconnects and the Kimber Kable PBJ RCA to RCA interconnects were the links that led nowhere.
