I like that aquacona had an option between well, water and city water. To be honest, I'm not sure there is a difference other than the amount of water it can filter. The ease of installation was easily done, even if you were just a basic DIY'er. The price was very comparable. As other units with less amount of filtration were a little more expensive. It appears from my research that aquasana offers a pre-and post. Filter set up where others don't appear to have that. The one negative thing I would have to say is the restrictor coupler. That is just after the post filter going into the UV filter, it appears that this was a new product that aquasana was not familiar with. But did have an answer for me regarding plumbing. One issue I have with restrictor is that everything is one inch plumbing, but this restrictor hole was probably less than 3/16 of an inch in diameter. It concerns me that the amount of gpm that the system is able to provide is greatly reduced and thus reducing the ability for the house to flow enough water.
