Subject: Concern Regarding New Countertop Water Filter
Dear Aquasana Customer Support,
I have been a loyal Aquasana customer since around 2010–2012 and have relied on my original countertop water filter with great satisfaction for many years. Unfortunately, that unit recently stopped working, and I learned that the necessary replacement parts are no longer available.
Based on your product updates, I purchased your new countertop water filter. However, I have found it to be extremely large and inconvenient compared to the previous model. It requires electricity to operate, must be filled manually through a canister, and no longer connects directly to the tap. Because of this, I cannot get cold water directly from the unit, and the manual filling process is very difficult for me, particularly as I am currently living with disabilities in both arms.
To be candid, I am not pleased with the new design. It is not only less user-friendly, but it is also impractical for long-time customers like me who originally chose Aquasana for its efficient, tap-connected countertop system.
Could you please let me know if there are any alternatives, adaptations, or smaller countertop models still available that function more like your earlier design? I would also appreciate guidance on whether Aquasana plans to reintroduce a tap-connected countertop option in the future.
