My wife thinks the opal ring is lovely. It's nice, but even as AAAA "Heirloom" it doesn't have quite as much fire as the on line images - there seems to be a bit more than normal variability in play. (Many of the online images appear to have the same gem photoshopped onto different rings.) Also, the stone was just a little light, at 1.10 carats vs. the 1.23 carats of the listing - funny how normal variability almost always is in a downward direction. The engraving was neatly done and correct and it makes a nice 1st anniversary gift to my wife, made all the more special since we both were born in October making opal our birthstone.

I really like the selection of gems and the fact that they have so many metals to choose from. You can get something that is really pretty on silver instead of spending the money on gold. The heirloom gems are gorgeous and have the best color. I was a little disappointed in the pear shaped citrine earrings I got my wife, because they just didn't shine they way I anticipated, being backed and also the cut. Thy DID include a gorgeous pair of citrine earrings that has the sparkle I was looking for and was totally blown away by that. I feel that you can get gorgeous jewelry for reasonable prices.

My ring is beautiful. It came in a very timely manner and was wrapped as if it cost tens of thousands of dollars! A jewelry store would not have done as much as they did. It fits perfectly around my finger and sets perfectly with my other ring. The stones sparkle and reflect light to catch my eye and make me love it even more.
