I was searching for replacement drumstick covers for my Lars signature AHead drumsticks and noticed that Zzounds had them with a 3-day shipping option, so I decided to buy. The purchase went through right away, a label was created, and the item was ready for pickup. After waiting three days with no delivery, I called customer service and was told the items had shipped and were on the way. A couple of days later, I called back and spoke to a more helpful employee who realized the shipment was delayed. He offered me a refund (and I could keep the sticks if they arrived) or to send another pair via FedEx with a guaranteed 2-day delivery. I went with the second option and got the drumsticks in just two days. The original package eventually showed up late too, but UPS never scanned it, so tracking was stuck on \"ready for pickup.\" The whole confusion around the 3-day shipping was frustrating and not the best first impression with Zzounds. I gave low marks in the survey because I wanted to be honest, but I’m still open to giving them another chance. As a musician who buys a lot online, reliable and fast shipping is crucial since I play gigs throughout the week and weekends. The second customer service rep was really great and deserves recognition for how he handled everything.
