I tried to order the Buy 2 Get 1 Free deals on two separate items. I noticed in my cart that the two items I was supposed to get "free" were not "free". I contacted Customer Service Chat (my only option) and was not able to find a number to call to talk to a REAL person. Not only did I have to wait in line several times but one of the times they cut off the chat when I tried to explain why it was wrong because they didn't believe me.
It was explained to me that the "free" items had to have a price on them for a return value. OK, I get this...however, I took those two free items out of my cart until I was done shopping. Just to make sure what they were saying was correct. When I added the 2 free items back onto the cart my total went up $20! I already had enough for free shipping before adding them so that couldn't be the reason. They are supposed to be "Free" and the total should have reflected that even if the prices on all the items were changed.
When I tried to explain this to customer service, all they would tell me is it was correct because the computer adjusted it. NO...IT WAS NOT CORRECT! Just because the computer did it, doesn't mean there couldn't have been an error. The whole experience was very upsetting and how it was handled is even more upsetting. Why don't you have a Customer Service number readily available?
I feel like this was a "bait and switch" situation.
