When I was a kid my dad got me my first RC car. He's now passed away and I have his that we dis a motor swap on and ive never drove it. That and my rock crawler sit in my son's room and ive always talked with him about fixing them... We used to have really good personal family memories with each other with rc cars and tonight I was thinking about simpler times so I went ahead and just ordered my son his very own rock crawler. Maybe now ill fix mine again that my dad bought me and we can once again create great simple memories together and have adventures visiting rc shops in every state we visit. Thank yall for the great memories and the continuation of the rc cars we really did mess with them a lot, helped build a dirt track to race some on when I was a kid for some guy my dad met that used to hold rc races in south Florida. Than we got into rock crawling and played with drift cars. Great times.

I ordered three Hot Wheels plastic model kits in special collector tin boxes. They all arrived damaged, which the sorry packing had part in this. I couldn’t find numbers to call, so an email went out over the weekend. I received a Monday response asking for pictures of which I promptly sent. Tower Hobbies response was to contact Mattel? Mattel said they couldn’t do anything either. I contacted the company that reissued these kits and they said that Tower Hobbies should handle this. I sent another email asking for a return and refund and after three days I received nothing. They have seemingly ghosted me! Tower Hobbies will not get any more orders from me. Their claim of “expert customer service” is a lie. You fooled me once….shame on you Tower Hobbies.

The checkout process failed twice for non descript reasons. It took several attempts and lucky guesses to figure out why. Also, I used the shopping cart to reserve potential purchases. When I went to check out, I couldn't figure out how to modify the cart contents. I finally stumbled across it but I couldn't do that twice.

I think the site is fairly easy to use. Search is not super helpful unless i have the actual part number. It is disappointing that not all the replacement parts i need for a current model arrma car (typhon 223s) are not available.
