I perchased a vynal interior matt for my 1991 Chevy regular cab truck and the website says it’s miles to fit exactly but it seems to me they fold it up and out in the box while it’s still hot so when I revive it then it’s all wrinkled . I’ve tried every thing I can to get it right but it’s so wrinkled up it’s not going to smooth out . And it’s light , it’s nut going to hold its self down in the floor , dirt is going to get in behind it . I emailed stick interiors about my issue and I do not receive an email back . I would take a different mat or a carpet that will actually work . But if they don’t get back to me by the end of the day Monday then I’m just going to cut it up and use it for something other then a fooor Matt and put rubberized under coating in my floor because I need to get my interior back together. I am building a truck to work off of and start my own business and I wanted to do the truck up right , I wanted it to be presentable and at the same time I wanted back to it’s factory standards but this Matt just blew that out the window because it’s simply not right , it’s false advertising. I’m not the one to complain but when I am told something then i expect it to be what it’s supposed to be .

The carpet did not form to the floor of my truck very well. Despite all efforts, I could not get it to sit on all the humps and recesses in the floor not to mention I ordered charcoal gray, which on the website showed that it was very dark and when the carpet showed up, it was more of a light gray, at Best. I sucked it up and went ahead and installed it but if you want a dark color, you might be smart to order black. I wish I had. My carpet is somewhat wrinkled, but I suppose it’s OK because those wrinkles that aren’t sitting on the mold of my floor are under my seats.

Overall, the carpet fit my 350z pretty well. The one thing I was a bit disappointed by was the "mass backing" that was supposed to give the carpet more of an OEM sound deadening effect. It was just a handful of cut insulation tossed in the box with the carpet. Its cut to shapes so it probably is meant to go somewhere specific, but I have no reference to where they go, plus I would've expected the "mass backing" to be attached to the back of the carpet. Sure I could guess and glue it to the back but I didn't have glue so I just laid them under the carpet in a couple spots. Overall, this beats trying to source and fit generic carpet on my own. I might spend a little more time looking for a good condition OEM carpet to buy first next time.

I was led to this website while searching for interior carpet for my 34' Ford Hot Rod Kit produced by Classic Motor Carriages. I felt fortunate to find any items that would meet my needs, for completion of this project. Classic Motor Carriages is no longer in existence. I had my upholstery guy come over to install the vinyl flooring. He was not happy with the molding. Very little of it lined up where it should have. For the dimmer switch and the emergency brake cable we’re on the vinyl flooring was way off from where it needed to be. He did the best he could, but we still have a lot of bulky spots that there was nothing we could do with. He was pretty well disappointed in the product. And he has done many high-end restorations for years.
