The romel reins I received were good quality for the price but unfortunately Schneiders did not carry any romel reins that were actually short enough for my small Arabian who needs a large pony size as he is 14.2. These are about a foot too long for him. My rider will try to make do with what I purchased for the remainder of this year and look elsewhere for a more suitable size.

Lots of products to choose from. Sometimes the filters are difficult. All in all it’s a good site and I always find what I’m looking for. I’m not sure if you have this but I would like to put each of my horses in and have specified items to fit them. Saddle pads, blankets, halters. Etc. That way I don’t have to research each time.

This is my first time ordering from Schneiders and I am very disappointed. I ordered 2 items, both of which were advertised as being in stock at the time I placed my order and until my order was delivered. I placed my order on September 7 and within a few days got an email saying that the items were on backorder (even though the website said they were in stock). I received several more emails about delays on the items and did not receive the first item until September 28. I received several more emails about delays on the second item and received one that said my second item would not be shipped until November 27 at which point I contacted customer support. The customer service representative I spoke to said that "the email was sent by mistake" and that she saw they had just got the item in at the warehouse and it would be shipped out that week, confirming the item was in fact not in stock as advertised on the website when I paced the order. Since it had been almost a month since I had placed the order, I asked for complimentary expedited shipping. The representative said that should not be a problem. I did not receive any expedited shipping. The item was shipped that week and I did not receive the item that I placed an order for on September 7 that was advertised as being in stock until October 3. I am very disappointed in this whole experience as I previously shopped at Dover Saddlery prior to it going out of business, always having wonderful experiences with that company, and was looking for a new company to support. Amazon had the same products for sale and I regret not purchasing through Amazon. I do not plan to order anything from Schneiders again due to this experience and failure of the Schneiders customer support representative to rectify the situation.
