Quality of costumes were horrible this year. Light up stick man mask came melted and scratched, and mask squished nose so badly my child couldn’t wear because so uncomfortable. Too big of a pain in the ass to return. Terrible return process. Witch costume hat wouldn’t have fit a toddler. Again, return policy is AWFUL will never buy costumes from spirit again. Quality was horrendous this year with terrible return policy.

Ordered a product and paid 25.00 dollars for "Overnight" shipping, there was a 15.00 fee for I think 2 or 3 day shipping. I did not receive the product the next day as expected and took a trip to the local store who told me I need to contact the number listed on line, then told me they have one available in the store. I called the number and finally got someone after multiple attempts and noted I would like to cancel the order as the local store had one available which would save me the 25.00 extra shipping cost. The person told me her manager said I had to wait or tone more day as it specifies overnight is active after the item is sent to the UPS which takes up to two days?? ...What is the purpose of overnight shipping and paying extra if it is not an overnight receipt! Spenser's would not cancel, and as I wanted the item for Halloween I purchased the one in the store thus ended up with two of the same product and had to pay more than twice the going rate. Spenser's needs to re-evaluate its policy and customer service. I now have an unopened scarecrow which I paid over 150.00 for and likely will try to sell it for what I can on ebay. I am very disappointed with Spenser's (Spirit) for this and likely will never puchase from the again.

Your email fooled me into thinking I could get 50% off halloween items. I didnt get a single thing at your email promotion price and I think that this should be an illegal practice. The good news is that I was able to create a shopping cart on your website and then I searched the World Wide Web and I found those same products being at a more reasonable price, I would have to say at more than 50% off

Ordered Halloween costume with plenty of time before the holiday. Paid for quick shipping just in case. Unfortunately the shipment was missing several items from the costume kit. Upon opening the exterior shipping packaging, I noticed the costume kit inside was entirely cut open and all the accessories were missing. I called the customer service line and spoke with someone —who answered very quickly and was apologetic— but said that there wouldn’t be enough time to send the missing items in time for the 31st. They did offer a slight refund and I accepted.

My most recent experience was frustrating to say the least. I purchased two, separate costumes, paid extra for them to be there before Halloween (because the site specifically mentioned that was an option). Not only did I not receive both costumes in time, but I spoke to customer service and they denied my request for a refund. They told me all sales were final and it didn’t matter that I paid extra for the costumes to arrive on October 30. I missed my party and I lost more money than I would have ever wanted to. I still believe I should receive a refund for both costumes. If not in full, at least partial.
