I just purchased a costume for my little nephew, and the checkout process went smoothly! They even offered a shipping discount, so I didn’t have to pay for shipping, which I really appreciated. Since Halloween was already several days ago, I was hoping the costume itself would be discounted too. Still, I’m hopeful the quality will be great, and I can’t wait for it to arrive and open it!

I ordered online and the mask and belt were missing from the Batman outfit and the costume was too small. I had to go in person and was told no returns for cash back but could only exchange. This was not mentioned before I ordered. I also went for the 50% off to see what I could find and all the fitting rooms were closed up. The staff would not open it OR let me try on items over my cloths. The manager told me not to as I opened the bag and security came over to warn me about opening the plastic bags. They treated me like a criminal. Why?!? What the f*ck is that about? Stop making it so hard to make a sale. Honestly the manager was a bitch and overall the quality control and policies make this kind of a scummy company. Don’t think I will be back. Oh and the site I visited was in Jacksonville Florida and even with 50% off was still high for what it is. None of the costumes I bought that were pants or like shaggy or Batman had any pockets. It’s little inconveniences like this that add up. Not worth it IMO

Product was great but one item was broken. I was able to glue but there was no packing material inside the box to protect the merchandise. Plus they used such an oversized box too so it got rattled around.

I ordered a costume that was supposed to arrive 3 days before Halloween, even paid for express shipping. It arrived Nov 2nd, I had to go pick up a different costume, when I contacted customer support they refused to give me a refund for this now useless costume because there’s nothing I can do with it. The best they offered was a refund of the shipping, which doesn’t even make sense.

Ordered a shirt for my daughter and paid an extra $20 for shipping for it to get here by Halloween. The website says it was going to be delivered before then but didn’t end up coming until the Tuesday after Halloween. Then, customer service told me I could take the package back to FedEx to refuse it but FedEx said no, they needed a return shipping label. Long story short, I ended up having to pay another $13 to return the shirt. The kicker is, they closed all of the stores and so I didn’t even have the option. So here I am having to pay $33 in shipping fees for a shirt my daughter didn’t get to wear and Spirit doesn’t even want to reimburse for having to pay to return the shirt. Never again!

I was excited to get this product in a timely manner but not satisfied with the fact that the costume was so small and I was unable to either return or exchange the costume. I will reconsider purchasing items from here.

My experience with Spirit Halloween was one of the most horrible consumer experiences I’ve had. The manager of the spirit Halloween was very rude and disrespectful. The spirit return policy is ridiculous. Doesn’t allow returns after October 22 when Halloween is October 31 and people are still buying costumes. I will not waste my money at Spirit Halloween again. We have shopped there every year and we will no longer go there. We are a low income family trying to buy costumes for our children and you denied me being able to get $50 back. That’s ridiculous.

I first ordered a product online and everything went smoothly. I went into Spirit Halloween store and was absolutely amazed. It was so much fun walking through all the decorations and seen all the costumes. They have really cool decoration items and gift options. The prices were great! I went there for one item and walked out with five 😆. I went home and told my husband that we need to go to Spirit Halloween for the fun experience next year.

i ordered a wig for my daughters costume on Sunday. I paid 17.99 for 2 day shipping and it said it would arrive by Wednesday. The wig showed up Friday well after the 2 day delivery i paid for and also past the day my daughter needed it for her costume party. i called customer service and i was repeatedly told that even though it states 2 day delivery in actuality it can take 3-5 business days and I am not eleigible for a refund of my delivery fee. I would have never paid 17.99 for 2 day shipping if it takes longer than 2 days to arrive and if rhe possibilty of it arriving was after the day it was needed. i will never order from this company again.

I appreciate how the in store prices match the online site, but really wish shipping would have been free. I found it very misleading to advertise free shipping with code FREE40 only to be told later on at checkout that this offer doesn't apply to the items in my cart?

I always have a good easy time. the checkout is fast and usually always pleasant. Ive only had one issue in the last where I purchased a ghostface costume amd the order was canceled after about a week and a half with nk major uodayes, but it got squared away and i still continue to support very very heavily.

Website was easy to navigate. I found what I was looking for easily and purchased. I do wish they had more toddler accessories available like fleece tights so I could just purchase everything at once. Shipping was timely. Costumes are fine for a couple of wears but wouldn't say the quality will hold up beyond that.
