I ordered the Deluxe Ghostbusters Ghost Trap ($179.99) and received the regular Ghost Trap ($49.99). I have been charged the $179.99 and find this highly unacceptable. This isn't a small discrepancy, it's a difference of product quality and $130.
I have reached out to customer support and quite liked the rep I spoke with. We set up an exchange and I was told I would be emailed a label to send the item in for exchange. It is 10:25 US Mountain Time right now and haven't been emailed anything regarding my exchange. I did, however, receive texts when I didn't expect to be texted over this, as I was told I would be emailed...
I find it mildly unacceptable that I was texted through the number given to me to submit pics of the item I was shipped, when I wasn't informed I even could be by that number. It wass assumed that it was only to send proof of product pics to verification of the incorrect item. In a way, it's okay that I was texted, but the way it's was handled, I didn't have my phone in front of me for a few hours tonight (the texts started at 7:32pm US Mountain time and ended at 7:42 US Mountain time), and the texts feel treated like I abandoned a service call I didn't know I was even a part of. I called around 2:30pm, I wasn't told to expect texts, let alone texts this late into the night over this. The last text was about closing down the contact due to inactivity, which seems unfair to anyone who may not be in the situation to react right away.
I also want to add that the product was shipped in a box way too large for the item, without any packing for protection. The outter shipping box had been damaged in transit.
