I recently ordered two wetsuits from Scuba.com, and while the overall process ended up being more complicated than expected, I was impressed with how their customer service team handled everything.
The first wetsuit shipped quickly and arrived on time. Unfortunately, it didn’t fit, so I needed to return it. The return process was straightforward and easy to complete. I requested an exchange for a different wetsuit since the original model I wanted was backordered for several months. The customer service team was able to help with the exchange, but the replacement order was accidentally placed in the wrong size. Once the mistake was identified, they acted quickly and were able to reroute the package before it was delivered. Since the correct size was also out of stock for several months, I ultimately decided to cancel that order.
At the same time, I had a second wetsuit order pending that was shipping directly from the manufacturer. It took a few weeks to ship, but throughout that process the customer service team was extremely responsive whenever I reached out for updates, even when the delays were outside of their control.
Overall, my experience involved a return, an exchange, a shipping issue, a cancellation, and a manufacturer backorder. Despite those challenges, the Scuba.com team was consistently helpful, responsive, and easy to work with. Mistakes happen, but what stood out to me was how quickly they worked to resolve problems and keep me informed.
