Overall experience was OK. Most of the products that I purchased came on time and was in good condition BUT one of the items was not. It looked like it’s been used old and did not look brand new. Of course I got it on sale so it’s not returnable or exchangeable. Very disappointed in the one item.

I would have liked to see the actual measurements of the coat online. I had to return this order because the coat was too big and then order again. I referenced the sizing chart as well before ordering

I received my stuffie beaver holding a pencil with the security tag attached to its ear. I have recently undergone surgery and this is why I was placing my Roots order online. I could not take the security tag off myself so I reached out to customer service via email as my surgery was on my throat which make it extremely difficult to phone. I advised of the problem with the security tag being left on and not being able to drive to my nearest Roots which is far. I was hoping that another beaver could have been sent without the security tag which would save me the trip. I was simply told no and that I could drive up to Limeridge mall and they would remove it for me. They also said I could return the beaver with the pencil. I would not have ordered it if I wanted to return it. It was a ludicrous suggestion. I am always extremely happy and enjoy coming in to Roots with my kids to shop. I absolutely love the quality and style of everything. So classy. Unfortunately this experience has not made me feel like a valued customer.

This is my first time shopping on the official website. I think new customers registering and making their first purchase should receive an extra discount—since other brands do this—or perhaps get free shipping on their first order.

Checkout was terrible. I couldn’t enter my proper mailing address. The system supplied an address which I could not edit. To be clear, the system supplied an address that was completely wrong. Also—please include a check box to indicate billing and delivery addresses are the same. You are the only vendor I have dealt with that doesn’t provide that check box and doesn’t accept address changes after editing at request of the system.

Appreciate reduced price, but price was still high even with the sale price. Merchandise looks beautiful, but preferred size was out of stock. Checkout was quick and easy. Payment was quick and easy. Shipping costs are too high.

The payment was the issue - not roots. I wish you didn't use third parties. PayPal went ahead even though some of the information like phone number was incorrect.

I find there are inconsistencies in the sizing. I did notice a return to better fabrics than those from last year. Overall, your product is overpriced. GAP offers comparable at about 1/2 of the price. Been wearing Roots for 40 years and spend around 400 every fall, ( more at Christmas) but I find your online billing confusing. It seems you charge full price on the sales, then the tax, then give the discount off. Why not just ring up the sales price with the tax on that? Fishy accounting practices. You are taking in more tax than seems proper.

Love my purse and baby fleecy onesie. My only thing is that I would like better shipment tracking. In the past, when I have purchased ROOTS it has taken about 4-5 days. This order came in 2 days and if I had known that I would have made arrangements for someone to pick it up off of my front porch. Instead it sat overnight there because I didn't know it would come that fast.

Customer service feedback on my survey apply exclusively to the chatbot interaction I had when trying to track my replacement order. I returned one item to the store and ordered another size. Received a shipping notice, but system could not find my order, so tried the chatbot for assistance — it was completely unhelpful and frustrating. Better to have limited human online assistance hours than a useless chatbot. I received my order quickly, and I’m happy with my purchase, but the automated “customer support” experience wasn’t great.
