Our recent online order was a disaster. After getting an email that roots had received our order and our credit card charged, we heard nothing. After a number of days, fearing that our items would not arrive for Christmas, we called customer service with the order number. He response that we received was baffling. “The order had been received but not confirmed, therefore didn’t exist despite our card being charged and having an order number. We then asked what it would take to just have roots put the order through with a rush which we were told wasn’t possible. We asked for a degree of compensation given gifts would be late and told they cannot offer since he items were on sale. We just asked for a full, refund for the $500+ in orders and scrambled to find other gifts at other retailers. We have literally ordered thousands of Roots items online over the years and this was such a disappointment. We won’t be ordering again - something is very wrong in Roots internal online ordering process and customer resolution response.
