Everything was great, except I wasn't getting any tracking updates. I checked online a few times using the link in the email and it never said it was shipped - it just showed me my order, and then next thing you know I had it. It looked like it didn't ship though

I love the quality of your products. I sometimes have problems with US Customs, but that is not on Roots. I especially look for the Isla cotton for dresses, skirts, etc. I know you are geared to younger crowd but I am finding what I want.

I googled "flowy cotton summer dresses" and aside from the usual off-shore companies that normally come up, I spotted a Roots dress. Over the past 18 months, I have been all about shopping Canadian, so I clicked on the site, found a lovely dress with many positive reviews and bought my first ever garment from Roots. Feeling good about my decision so far and I hope the dress is as pretty out of the packaging as it is on the website. The $10.00 off with first purchase was a nice bonus!

I purchased three items. They were in stock when I placed the order, so I paid the full amount. However, the entire order was cancelled during processing. I can't find any shipping information, no customer service contacted me, and I received no notification of the cancellation. After contacting customer service, I was told that only one item was out of stock, and the others were shipped normally, which is completely different from what was shown on the website. The website showed that all three items were cancelled, and the entire order was cancelled. I couldn't find any order tracking information on the website because the order had been cancelled. I didn't use the coupon because I wasn't eligible, and I bought some unnecessary items at full price. The items I needed were refunded. If an item was out of stock, it shouldn't show as in stock when I placed the order; it shouldn't show as out of stock after payment; and it shouldn't fail to notify the customer when one item is out of stock. The website shouldn't show the entire order as cancelled when one item is cancelled. It shouldn't ship some items after the entire order is cancelled. It shouldn't require me to buy more items at full price after using a coupon. A very disappointing shopping experience.

I ordered some items of clothing for a toddler. The one item a hat, when I received it the size was too small for size I ordered. So I went to the store see about a larger size and the sales associate after examining the item realized the hat size was incorrectly labeled. He checked their stock and fortunately they had the size I needed so we did an exchange.

I purchased my first order and transfer out the colors I ordered were not the same and we were planning to do a photo shoot. Upon reaching out to customer support to see if there’s anyway I can do an exchange or return to purchase another item. I was immediately turned down that this is final sale and there’s no exceptions to be made which is very disappointing. I would not want to purchase through roots again.

I am extremely frustrated with Roots' customer support. I ordered a bag on July 4 at 4:03 PM. After days with no confirmation, I had to contact support just to check the status. I finally got a shipping email on July 8 at 10:01 PM. However, looking at the FedEx tracking, it claimed the package was delivered back on July 7, but I received no notification and never found the package. I immediately reported it missing to FedEx and asked Roots to file an investigation as the shipper. On July 10, FedEx promptly contacted me, confirming the package was lost and telling me to contact Roots. Yet, when I reached out, Roots insisted I wait for FedEx’s investigation. I followed up again on July 13, only to get the same canned response. FedEx already admitted the loss days ago. I've done all the legwork, but Roots refuses to take responsibility or expedite my refund/replacement. Still waiting.
