Ist bad experience with customer service after experiencing problem with order. Received a cancellation notification post order confirmation on 1 item. I called customer service to resolve how to retrieve portion of $25 VIP reward after that one item had been cancelled. This equalled $15.38. CSR clearly did not grasp the problem and repeatedly stated I could not get an additional discount. I wasn't seeking an additional discount, I just wanted to retrieve the unused portion of the reward that resulted fron the cancellation. I ended call and called back with hopes of getting a different csr who might understand my dilemma. I kept getting Ben. His comments were condescending based on his interpretation including his manager and. accounting agreeing with him. His overall "manplaining" attitude was offensive and I hung up. I called again after cooling my anger and , of course, got him again. This time offered me an e-gift card for the unused amount. He even apologized. I accepted his apology but stated I did not understand why he created a difficult situation. If he had just listened initially, all the discord would have been avoided. He clearly needs additional training and perhaps should not be talking to customer. I presented my issue in a easy going and pleasant manner and got this treatment. All previous interactions with customer service have been great, including defective and damaged goods.
I did receive the other item in a timely manner. However, I was disappointed with the stirrers from your new Dolly Parton line. They were very short and could not be used with my highball glasses. Recommend the length is added in the description so no one else will order in error. OK to use with a short mug or teacup.
Whew!!! I hope I never have a repeat of this experience.
