Site Experience FeedbackOct 16, 2026
My 19-year-old son and I are both new to woodturning, but we’ve jumped into it full force and absolutely love it! We joined the Peace River Woodturners to learn, improve our skills, and share our passion for this amazing hobby. Since your company is affiliated with the group, we’ve purchased quite a bit of our woodturning supplies through you, and we’ve been very pleased with everything so far. We truly appreciate having a reliable place to get quality supplies as we learn and grow in this hobby together. We look forward to continuing to do business with you and highly recommend you to anyone interested in woodturning!

I recently had a few friends that I wanted to gift with a personalized pen. With the large selection of pen kits that that cover most interest and appeal to a very diverse group I most often select Pennstate for all my projects and supplies. Always have quick accurate response to my orders. Rarely have a need to call for help but when I have I have always been pleased with the response and helpful professional person taking the call. I am about to start a build of about 20 pen with a western flair to suite cowboys and manly men. I just received my order as expected and now heading to the shop. I inspected my order and it was complete and accurate as usual. With the continual additions to the product lines and supplies I find Pennstate to be the best source of any thing I might need. Thanks PSI.

I bought the pen kits for a gift. The kit was very good and the pen turned out beautiful. The only issue was I thought the bushings were included, so I had to order them and wait for them to come in before making the pen.

The answering service is nowhere as good as getting a staff person in business hours. My biggest complaint is the duplicitous nature of your bushings. You label many different kinds but many are exactly the samee so I end up buying bushings I don t need. You label them with different codes but they are the same as many other.

The experience is good. Have placed several orders with Penn. Penn was out of stock on the blank I wanted most. But that is OK. It will return, I hope. Red and Black are my favorite color combination. I started this endeavor 35 years ago. My pens are unique, each one is different. And I modify different aspects of the pens.
