Recently, I purchased the victorian pen kit, the executive fountain pen kit, and a dyed red and black maple burl blank. I originally planned to order a victorian fountian pen kit, but only the rollerball was in stock. Everything arrived as expected, though the double dyed pen blanks can be kind of a gamble (I purchased a gold and black dyed blank that ended up with green patches a few weeks ago),it turned out well.

The only time I have ever had an issue was with an order of Synthetic Opal that never arrived. Penn State sent me out another single package of the opal, but my package had two containers of Opal on the order, so I am still down a container of the opal.

Penn State has a huge selection for every step of the turning process, from kits, to parts, to tools and everything between! Everything arrived in great shape and I appreciate that when I order a special blank they seem to try to pick what I'd consider a good one (and I'm very picky!). Cannot recommend PSI highly enough.

I ordered my first pen kits and measuring spoons along with other tools I thought I needed. The web site at the time was no help. I finally received the parts only to find that the bushings needed to turn the pens were not included and then had to order them and am currently waiting for them. Spoke with tech support, sounded like he was at home tending to his kids and could not focus on helping me. Not a good first impression.
